ELON, N.C. -- The renovations to the Latham Park playing surface are well underway and began almost immediately after the last home game of the 2010 Elon baseball season.

 

The improvements at Latham Park include a new drainage system and sod in the outfield as well as a new FieldTurf surface in the infield.  The artificial FieldTurf surface will allow the Phoenix to resume practices and games much sooner following rain and wet conditions.  New fencing will also be erected during the renovations.
