ELON, N.C. – Coming off a solid weekend on the road last week, the Elon University women’s soccer team returns to Rudd Field for a pair of matches this weekend. The Phoenix (4-6-5, 2-1-3 Southern Conference) hosts Georgia Southern on Friday at 7 p.m. before welcoming Davidson to campus on Sunday at 2 p.m.
 
The team will celebrate Senior Day prior to Sunday’s match against Davidson, which marks the second to last home game for Elon seniors Shannon Cosgrove, Michelle Pullen, Jaclyn Wood, Shannon Foley and #Claire O’Keeffe#. Last Friday against Wofford, O’Keeffe etched her name into the Elon record books when she started her 74th career match – good for first all-time in program history. O’Keeffe passed Mackenzie Sisson’s (1998-01) record of 73 with her start against the Terriers.
