Nate Young set down the final two hitters to garner his ninth save of the season. The victory also assured the maroon and gold of a top-four seed in the upcoming league tournament.
Elon took advantage of a Bulldog error in the third to grab a 1-0 lead. With

Quinn Bower's soft single to right followed and Serra raced home with the winning run.
Despite earning a complete game, The Citadel's Austin Pritcher (6-5) took the loss. He surrendered five hits and walked three in his eight frames.
Bower notched two of Elon's five hits on the night. Elon's
Ryan Kinsella went 0-for-3 to snap his career-long 14-game hit streak.
