ELON, N.C. – Currently riding a three-match winning streak, the Elon University women's soccer team returns to Rudd Field on Friday and Sunday this week for its final two regular season home matches. The Phoenix hosts Chattanooga on Friday night, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. before welcoming Samford to campus on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. for Senior Day.
SENIOR DAY: Sunday marks the final regular season home match for seniors

Jennifer McGorty. The Class of 2014 enters this weekend's matches with a total of 37 career wins, which is the third most by a senior class during Elon's Division I era.
ELON VS. CHATTANOOGA: Friday night marks the 11th all-time meeting between the Phoenix and Mocs. Elon leads the all-time series, 6-4. The Phoenix has won the last two meetings against the Mocs, winning by a combined score of 13-2.
ELON VS. SAMFORD: Sunday afternoon marks the sixth all-time meeting between Elon and Samford. The Bulldogs lead the all-time series, 3-1-1. Elon dropped a 2-1 decision at Samford last season on Oct. 21. Two years ago at Rudd Field, the Phoenix and Bulldogs battled to a 1-1 draw.
LOOKING AHEAD: Following Sunday's match, Elon heads to Greensboro, N.C., for its regular season finale at UNCG on Oct. 30. The first round of the Southern Conference Tournament is slated for Nov. 3 on campus sites.
LOOKING BACK: Elon picked up a pair of key road wins last week to remain in the hunt in the Southern Conference, topping Georgia Southern 3-2 in double OT on Oct. 18 before claiming a 4-2 decision at Davidson on Oct. 20.
HEAD COACH CHRIS NEAL: Chris Neal is in his sixth season as the Elon head women's soccer coach. Last year's Southern Conference Coach of the Year, Neal enters Friday's match with a career record of 57-31-19.
GETTING OFFENSIVE: Elon has scored three or more goals in 10 of its 16 matches this season, averaging 2.81 goals per game. The Phoenix trails only Penn State (3.00), Georgetown (3.19) and Virginia (3.25) in goals per game this season, ranking fourth nationally.
DENNION HONORED: Elon sophomore forward
Nicole Dennion was named the Southern Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Month in September. Dennion paced the Phoenix with six goals and two assists (14 total points) in September, leading Elon to a 5-1-2 mark.
