ELON, N.C. – Coming off a win last Sunday, the Elon University women's soccer team returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 19, at William & Mary. The Colonial Athletic Association contest is set for a 2 p.m. kick at Martin Family Stadium in Williamsburg, Va.

Kate Murphy collected 11 saves over 90 minutes for her 14th career clean sheet.

LOOKING AHEAD: Following Sunday's match at W&M, Elon closes the regular season with a pair of road contests at Towson (Oct. 24) and James Madison (Oct. 26).

WHERE IT STANDS: Elon currently sits in ninth place in the CAA standings with three points and a 1-5 league mark. In order to make the CAA Championship, the Phoenix will need to finish in the top six in the league standings. The CAA Championship starts on Nov. 2 with the quarterfinals before the Nov. 7 semifinals and Nov. 9 title match. All quarterfinal matches will be played on campus sites of the highest seed. The semifinals and title match will be hosted by the highest remaining seed.

CAREER-HIGH MARK: Kate Murphy tied a career-high mark with 11 saves against Delaware on Oct. 12. Murphy also collected 11 saves against Western Carolina in 2013. Following her 11-save performance, Murphy helped Elon jump to a fifth-place ranking in the league in total saves with 50 this season.

CORNER KICKS: Elon leads the CAA in total corners (105) and corner kicks per game (7.50). The Phoenix is the only team in the conference with more than 100 corner kicks this season.

FOUL CALLS: Elon is the least penalized team in the CAA with only 91 fouls committed this season. Towson leads the league in fouls at 154 through 14 matches.
