ELON, N.C. – Coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance for the first time in school history last season, the Elon University women's tennis team opens its fall campaign at home this weekend with the Elon Fall Invitational. The tournament begins on Friday, Sept. 12, and concludes Sunday, Sept. 14.
 
Student-athletes participating in the Elon Fall Invitational hail from various schools, including: Wake Forest, Furman, UNC Asheville, Radford, Western Kentucky, UNCG, Western Carolina, USC Upstate, Liberty and North Carolina Central.
 
Friday's action begins at 9 a.m. at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
