ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's soccer team is set to host Latin Night at Rudd Field on Friday, Sept. 23, as the Phoenix faces Towson in its CAA opener at 7 p.m.
 
The evening is dedicated to the celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, which began on Sept. 15 and goes until Oct. 15. It will be a night full of Latin music, Spanish, good food and the game of soccer. The event will start at 6 p.m.
 
Some of the added flavor to the soccer match includes a Spanish speaking PA announcer, Hispanic food sampling, Hispanic country flags on display around the field, and Latin pre-game music. You will also be able to follow the in-match updates live on twitter in both English and Spanish on the official Elon women's soccer account at @ElonWSoccer.
 
Be sure to come out to the match to support the celebration and cheer on the women's soccer team against the Towson Tigers at Rudd Field.
