FINAL RESULTS
ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's tennis team completed the final day of the Wake Forest Invitational, highlighted by the singles performance of
Suzanne Zenoni, on Oct. 8, at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.

HIGHLIGHTS
Zenoni had a solid showing at the tournament, completing the competition with a 2-1 record in the B1 Singles bracket and earning a third place finish. She opened the tournament defeating Wright State's Karoline Haller 6-1, 6-2, before falling the semifinals to Ines Mesquita of Kansas State 6-1, 6-3. Zenoni would go on to defeat Erica Susi of Virginia 7-6(6), 6-2, to claim a third place finish.

Additionally for the Phoenix,
Erica Braschi defeated Charlotte's No. 1 singles player Tai Martin, 6-2, 6-0, in the A2 singles bracket on Sunday.
Alex Koniaev competed in the D2 flight and earned a win over Emma Scott of Charlotte, while
Montana Moore collected a 7-6(4), 3-6, 10-7, win over Ava Todd of Davidson in the E1 Singles flight.

Sofia Edo also earned a win in the F2 singles flight with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Hannah Francisco of UNC Asheville.

In doubles action, Koniaev and
Maria Paraja picked up an 8-6 win in the C Doubles Flight against Alexis Franco and Courtney Meredith of Wake Forest. Braschi and Edo earned Elon's other victory, defeating Amalie Davidsen and Madeline Finley of UNC Asheville.
