RICHMOND, Va. – Freshman Vemund Hole Vik of the Elon University men's soccer team was tabbed the Colonial Athletic Association's Rookie of the Week as released by the league office on Monday, Oct. 21.
 
Hole Vik helped the Phoenix go 2-0 last week which included victories against Duke and versus Northeastern. The Aalesund, Norway, native scored the game-winning goal in the 88^th minute in Elon's 3-2 win over the Blue Devils last Tuesday, helping the maroon and gold to its second-ever win over its intrastate rival.
 
The Phoenix faces another ACC foe tomorrow night, Oct. 22, as Elon travels to NC State for a matchup against the 23^rd-ranked Wolfpack. That contest is scheduled for 7 p.m.
