BOSTON, Mass. – Elon University volleyball put up a fight in the fourth set, but came up short as the team fell 3-1 at Northeastern Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26 in Cabot Center.Â
Â
"I like how we battled after a very slow start and won the second set," said head coachÂ
Mary Tendler. "We also came back in the fourth set and nearly sent to the match to a fifth. We just didn't have enough to finish, especially on the offensive side. We have a quick turn-around as we get back on the road to play a mid-week match."
The Phoenix falls to 11-13 overall and 5-5 in conference play with the loss. The Huskies are now 11-11 overall and are also 5-5 in the CAA.
