ELON, N.C. – Elon University baseball and head coach Mike Kennedy announced the program's 2022 schedule on Tuesday, Dec. 7. This spring will see the Phoenix hosting 37 games at Latham Park as well as the 2022 CAA Championship Tournament.
 
Elon will play seven opponents that reached the 2021 NCAA Regionals, including three teams that made it to the Super Regionals and one that competed in the College World Series. Season tickets are on sale for $60 and can be purchased online or by contacting the Elon Ticket Office at 336-278-6750.
 
"We are very excited about this spring and the schedule we've put together," said Kennedy. "No question this schedule will be a challenging one. We have some quality baseball being played at home with midweek tilts against the likes of NC State, Notre Dame, East Carolina and Wake Forest. Weekends will be packed with quality opponents both in and out of league play. Add the excitement of hosting the CAA tournament, Latham Park will be the place to be this spring!"
 
The Phoenix begins its season with a home series versus Fairfield on Feb. 18-20. Elon's non-conference schedule also features home series against Longwood (Feb. 25-27), Toledo (March 4-6), UNCG (March 11-12), Army (March 18-20) and UNC Asheville (April 15-16). The maroon and gold will also play at North Carolina (Feb. 22) and UNCG (March 13) and will host single games against Notre Dame (March 8), NC State (March 15) and North Carolina A&T (May 10). The non-conference slate also includes home-and-home series with Wake Forest (March 1/April 5), East Carolina (March 23/April 12) and High Point (March 29/April 19).
 
Elon opens conference play on March 25-27 as Hofstra visits Latham Park. The Phoenix then travels to Harrisonburg, Va. on April 1-3 for three games at James Madison before a conference series at Northeastern on April 8-10. Elon returns home to host Charleston on April 22-24, followed by a trip to Wilmington, N.C. on April 29-May 1 to play at UNCW. The team heads to Delaware on May 6-8 before rounding out the regular season at home against both Towson (May 13-15) and William & Mary (May 19-21).
 
Elon is set to host this year's CAA Championship on May 25-28. Six teams will compete in the double-elimination bracket tournament.
