ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis returns to action tomorrow, Feb. 20, for a road matchup with Campbell. The contest is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the Nisbet Tennis Center on Campbell's campus.
 
THE SERIES
- Elon has never defeated Campbell, trailing in the overall series 6-0.
- The Phoenix fell to Campbell, 5-2, in their most recent meeting on Feb. 8, 2020.   
 
ABOUT THE PHOENIX
- Elon is off to an 3-2 start to the season after falling to No. 25 Wake Forest in its most recent outing.
- Freshman Lizette Reding has started the season off hot, going 4-1 through the first five singles matches she has competed in this season.
- Junior Victoria Saldh is off to a 3-1 start in singles play this season while also winning her lone match in the No. 1 doubles slot.
- The combination of Sofia Edo and Victoria Saldh leads the team with three wins in doubles play through four matches as a tandem this season.
- Elon returns six athletes from last year's squad for the 2021 season in Sofia Edo, Olivia Archer, Victoria Saldh, Shauna Galvin, Kiana Rizzolo and Uma Nayar. Elon also added East Carolina transfer Sibel Tanik, as well as freshmen Alison O'Dea and Lizette Reding to the team.
- The Phoenix is led by seventeenth-year head coach Elizabeth Anderson.
 
SCOUTING CAMPBELL
- Campbell is led by head coach Mike Stevens, who is in his second season at the helm of the program.
- Campbell is off to an 0-2 start to the season after being defeated by No. 25 Wake Forest in its most recent contest.
- Last season, Campbell finished with a 9-3 overall record, including a 3-1 mark in Big South play.
