ELON, N.C. – Elon University men's basketball returns to action tomorrow, Feb. 22, when its hosts William & Mary at Schar Center. Tipoff in the contest is slated for 7 p.m.

THE MATCHUP
- This marks the 22^nd time that Elon and William & Mary will meet in program history, with the Phoenix trailing in the series 16-5.
- In their most recent meeting, Elon defeated William & Mary, 75-54, in Williamsburg, Va. on Saturday, Feb. 20.

ABOUT ELON
- Elon is led by sophomore guard Hunter McIntosh, who leads the team in scoring (15.9 ppg), adding 2.8 rpg.
- Sophomore forward Hunter Woods leads the team in rebounding (6.8 rpg) and is third on the team in scoring (7.7 ppg).
- Guards Ikenna Ndugba and Darius Burford are combining to average 15.6 ppg and 7.2 rpg.
- In its most recent outing, Elon defeated William & Mary, 75-54, to earn its second straight CAA win.
- Darius Burford led the way for the Phoenix, posting career-highs in points (27), rebounds (7) and steals (4) in 35 minutes of action.
- Ikenna Ndugba added a season-high 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists on the day, connecting on 8-of-12 field goals and 3-of-4 three point attempts.
- The Phoenix led by as much as 27 and for a total of 37:42 of game time.
- Elon knocked down a season-high 31 field goals at a season-best 51% clip.
- Today's 21-point win is the largest for the Phoenix since winning by 30 against N.C. Wesleyan in its season opener.
- Elon rounded out non-conference play with a 3-1 overall record.
- Following its win against Campbell, the Phoenix earned its first 3-0 start to a season in Division I program history.
- Elon's win over N.C. Wesleyan made Schrage the first Elon coach since Bob Burton in 1987-88 to win his first two season openers.

SCOUTING WILLIAM & MARY
- Dane Fischer is in the midst of his second season at the helm of the William & Mary program after spending four years as an assistant coach at George Mason.
- William & Mary is off to a 6-8 start to the season after falling to Elon in its most recent outing.
- The Tribe is led by Luke Loewe, who currently averages 16.1 ppg and 3.0 rpg. William & Mary has also gotten major contributions from Connor Kochera who is posting 14.1 ppg and 4.8 rpg this season.
