ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis returns to action tomorrow, April 17, when it hosts Davidson in its regular-season finale at 1:00 p.m. at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

THE SERIES
- Elon and Charleston will meet for the 20
th time in program history on Saturday, with Elon trailing in the all-time series 9-10.
- The Phoenix defeated the Wildcats, 5-2, in their most recent meeting on Feb. 16, 2020. Â Â

ABOUT THE PHOENIX
- Elon is off to an 15-4 start to the season after outlasting College of Charleston, 4-3, in its most recent outing.
- The Phoenix is currently 11-2 in matches played at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center this season and 4-1 in road contests.

Lizette Reding has started the season off hot, going 14-3 through the first 17 singles matches of her career. Reding holds an 11-2 record in No. 3 singles so far this season.

Victoria Saldh is off to an 13-5 start in singles play this season, while posting a 9-4 record in the No. 1 slot.

SCOUTING DAVIDSON
- Davidson is led by head coach Susanne Depka, who is in his fourth season at the helm of the women's tennis program.
- The Cougars are off to a 5-13 start to the season after losing to Appalachian State, 4-3, in its most recent contest.
- Josie Schaffer is leading the way for Davidson, posting a 9-9 record in singles play with a 9-9 mark in the No. 1 slot. Schaffer also ranks second on the team with eight doubles wins so far this season.
