SCOUTING THE COUGARS
- CofC did not have a midweek game and did not have a weekend series last week, instead playing a single game against Division II Emmanuel College (Ga.) last Friday.
- The Cougars defeated the Lions 6-3 as starting pitcher Ty Good struck out eight through six innings. He held the visitors to one run on three hits en route to his fourth win. The freshman right-hander did not allow a walk for the second time this season. Harrison Hawkins led the offense as he batted 3-for-5 with two runs driven in. Joseph Mershon and Luke Stageberg both hit 2-for-4 in the win.
