RICHMOND, Va. – The Elon University men's soccer team had three members of its squad recognized on the 2021 CAA Men's Soccer Preseason All-Conference Team as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 17.
Junior midfielder
Jeppe Jordoson headlined the Phoenix recognized as the Haderslev, Denmark, native was tabbed to the 11-member Preseason All-CAA Team. Jordoson earned second team All-CAA honors last season while starting in all six games he played in during the 2021 spring campaign.

Kasper Lehm and sophomore
Jannik Videbaek joined Jordoson on earning All-CAA preseason recognition, with the duo being selected as honorable mention. Lehm also started six games last season and was a CAA All-Rookie selection in 2019.
Videbaek made five starts last season on the Phoenix backline and posted four total points, tying for second on the team. He also tied the team-lead in assists with two and scored his lone goal of the season versus VCU.
Elon was tabbed to finish seventh in the 2021 Preseason Poll, tallying 24 points. Three-time defending league champion James Madison was selected as the CAA favorite with 62 points and seven first-place votes. UNCW (55) and Hofstra (48) each garnered a first-place vote in the second and third spots, respectively.
The Phoenix is back on the pitch this Friday, Aug. 20, hosting Triad rival UNCG in its second exhibition of the preseason. Elon defeated Gardner-Webb 4-1 in its preseason opener on Sunday, Aug. 15.
