ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's track and field team is back in action this weekend, traveling to Durham, N.C., for the Duke Invitational on Friday-Saturday at the Morris Williams Stadium.

• The meet will be streamed on both days on the ACC Network Extra with coverage starting at 7 p.m. on Friday and at noon on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Phoenix traveled to the VertKlasse Meeting last weekend, April 1-2, at High Point University in its most recent meet.
• Jons ran the second-fastest time in school history in the 400-meters, setting a new personal-best in the race at 54.34 and was second overall. Barrows set a new season-best time of 56.88 in the race and was ninth.
• Sandy was second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.64, a new season-best for the Brooklyn, N.Y., native.
• In the women's 800-meters, Mannes was fifth with a personal-best time of 2:14.77.
• Anderson set a new personal-best in the "B" pole vault as she cleared the bar at a mark of 3.50m and finished fourth in the event. She moves into the program's top-10 performance list.
JONS NAMED CAA TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
• Jons was selected as the Colonial Athletic Association's Track Athlete of the Week on the women's side on Tuesday, April 5, for her performance at the VertKlasse Meeting.
• The Ijamsville, Md., native ran the fastest time in the 400-meters on the CAA's performance list so far this year. Her time also ranks 32
nd overall in the NCAA East Region and is 52
nd overall in the country going into the Duke Invitational.

The Phoenix heads back to High Point for the Meet of Champions next Saturday, April 16.
