BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Elon University women's track and field outdoor season concluded at the NCAA East Preliminaries on Thursday, May 26, at the Haugh Track & Field on the campus of Indiana University.
 
THE RUNDOWN
In the hammer throw, Kaitlin McGoogan was 40^th overall after posting a best throw of 54.98m (180-4) in her first-ever trip to the East prelims.
 
Leandra Lorenz clocked a time of 4:31.62 in the first round of the 1,500-meters. The redshirt sophomore was 46^th overall in her first-ever competition at the preliminary round.
 
Maria Ahm rounded out the Phoenix competitors at the NCAA East Preliminary round in the 10,000-meters. The junior was 24^th overall in the race after coming across the line with a time of 35:24.14.
