NORMAN, Okla. – For the ninth consecutive season, the Elon University men's golf program has been recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for excellence in academics during the 2021-22 academic year.
The Phoenix compiled a team GPA of 3.384 for the year and was among six schools from the Colonial Athletic Association to be recognized by the GCAA. College of Charleston and Delaware joined the maroon and gold as All-Academic teams while Drexel, UNCW and William & Mary received the Presidents Special Recognition Award.
Teams must submit GPAs of 3.00 or higher to earn GCAA All-Academic Team recognition. To be eligible, a university must submit the GPAs for each student-athlete on its official squad list for the academic year. To earn Presidents Special Recognition honors, the team must finish with a combined GPA of 3.5 and above.
