"I'm incredibly proud of this team and Landon for their great play this week at the Aggie Invitational," head coach Don Hill said. "March and April are a very exciting time in college golf and we hope to carry this momentum over to the weekend."

Durham became the second Elon player to win an event this season, joining Garrett Risner, who won the Phoenix Invitational in October. The Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., native carded a 2-under par 214 for the week and was one of just of two players in the 50-man field to finish the tournament under par.

With the victory, Durham is the first Elon freshman to win a tournament since William Harwood (2016-19) won the 2016 Pinehurst Intercollegiate. This is also the first time since 2016-17 that the Phoenix has won multiple individual titles in a season.

Elon won the team title with a 7-over par 871 behind a final round score of 297. The Phoenix finished 32 shots ahead of runner-up Alabama State. This is Elon's second team title of the season along with the Phoenix Invitational. This is the first time under Hill's tenure Elon has won multiple team titles in a season.

All six Elon players competing in the event finished in the top-15 of the individual standings. Sophomore Jennings Glenn tied for fourth at 4-over par, sophomore Timmy Gannon tied for sixth at 6-over par and freshman Oliver Rotermund tied for eighth at 7-over par, as all three posted their first career top 10 results. Pedro Rabadan finished alone in 13th place and Cristian Del Vecchio alone in 14th as both delivered their best finishes of the season.
