ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men's basketball team and the CAA announced their dates for the 2023-24 league schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 19. Teams will play an 18-game conference schedule against all 13 league foes that features five repeat opponents, four home-only opponents and four away-only opponents. In total, each team will play nine home games and nine road games.
 
The Phoenix opens CAA play at William & Mary on Jan. 4 to kick off the new calendar year. Elon will then host fellow Triad rival North Carolina A&T in its CAA home-opener on Jan. 6 at Schar Center. The Phoenix will then travel to College of Charleston on Jan. 11 before hosting three straight home contests versus Drexel (Jan. 13), UNCW (Jan. 18) and Northeastern (Jan. 20).
 
The Phoenix closes out the month of January with a pair of road games, first at intrastate foe and league newcomer Campbell on Jan. 25. The maroon and gold then treks to Hampton on Jan. 27 before hosting the Camels in a rematch on its home floor on Feb. 1 at Schar Center.
 
Following a trip down I-40 to play North Carolina A&T on Feb. 3, Elon welcomes Stony Brook for a matchup on Feb. 8. The Phoenix then begins a stretch of three games in six days with a trip to Towson (Feb. 12), versus Delaware at home (Feb. 15) before closing out the week at UNCW on Feb. 17.
 
The game at UNCW begins a three-game road swing for the Phoenix as Elon heads north for contests at Northeastern (Feb. 22) and against Hofstra (Feb. 24) following its matchup with the Seahawks. The regular season closes out with a pair of home games against William & Mary (Feb. 29) and Monmouth (March 2).
 
The league accommodated regional rivalries with input from the institutions throughout the process for the selection of repeat opponents, which were announced in August. All conference games will be available nationally on either FloHoops or CBS Sports Network with some contests on various regional and local television on the East Coast. Television information and game times will be announced at a later date.
 
All 14 teams will qualify for the 2024 Jersey Mike's CAA Men's Basketball Championship to be played March 8-12 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
