SETTING THE STAGE

• Now on a two-game win streak, Elon hosts Maine Saturday for Senior Day, as well as Military Appreciation Day. The Phoenix and Black Bears kick off at 2:00 p.m. with football Senior Day festivities taking place pregame.
• Maine leads the all-time series 3-2 but these two programs have not played each other since a 33-23 Elon victory in 2021.
• Elon is just 1-4 at home this year, while Maine is 2-4 on the road. Both teams are coming off of a victory and the Phoenix offense is in full rhythm lately. Elon has scored 90 points combined over the past two games and had 28 first downs at William & Mary Saturday, the most in a single game for the Phoenix since 2014.
• Saturday's game will be broadcast regionally on My48 and streamed on FloSports, with Taylor Durham, Khirey Walker and Hannah Bradey on the call.
