Winston-Salem, N.C. – Limited members of the Elon University track & field team opened the 2024-25 season Saturday, competing at the Get Your Marks Field Meet, hosted by JDL Fast Track. Intended for athletics who do not have a verified mark in field events, the met was mostly made up of first year student-athletes.
Freshman

Haleigh Cephus (35-5.75 | 10.81m) and
Savannah Hameed (34-7.5 | 10.55m). Johnson's mark in weight throw was 44-5 (13.55m), while Hameed placed third at 42-8.25 (13.01m).
