WEST PALM BEACH, FL. -- Elon women's golf moved into third place with a 36-hole total of 595 (+19) after day two of the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate. UNCG is hosting the tournament at the Hammock Creek Golf Club in West Palm, Fla.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Annie Wu moved into a tie for second place following a 1-under par 71 performance in round two. Wu carded four birdies in the second round and is now tied for the lead in the field with seven birdies.
- Ashley Lafontaine moved up nine spots on the individual leaderboard after carding 74 (+2) in the second round to sit in a tie for 11th place.
- Annabelle Ackroyd improved her score by one stroke in round two to jump up 10 spots in the individual standings and is now tied for 16th place.
- Lotte Fox shot another round of 76 (+4) on day two to move into a tie for 18th place. She leads the Phoenix in pars with 24.
- As an individual, Phoebe Peng is in a tie for 61st place after cutting 10 strokes off her score with a 4-over par 76. Peng carded nine pars and two birdies to advance 18 spots on the leaderboard.
- Andrea Asmundsdottir is in solo 70th place after improving her score by three in the second round.
UP NEXT
- The final round will begin tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
- The Phoenix travels to Charleston, S.C. to compete at the Rivertowne Invitational on Feb. 26-27.
