CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Annie Wu continues to pace the Phoenix tied for third with a 36-hole total of 142 (-2) while the team is in solo third place at 8-over par 289. Charleston Southern is hosting the tournament at the Rivertowne Country Club in Charleston, S.C.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Annie Wu is tied for third after two rounds of par or better of 70 and 72. Wu carded eight birdies in the opening day to finish with a 36-hole total of 142 (-2).
- Ashley Lafontaine is also in the top 10 as tied for eighth with an even-par 144. The sophomore carded four birdies to offset one double bogey in the first round to finish with a two-under par 70 followed by a 74 in the second round.
- Rounds of 73 and 74 put Lotte Fox in a tie for 18th after day one. Fox carded six birdies and 22 pars.
- Annabelle Ackroyd improved her score by two strokes in the second-round finishing in a tie for 43rd place with an 8-over par 152.
- Senior Apple Ngamwong finished in a tie for 55th place after rounds of 76 and 78.
UP NEXT
- The final round will begin tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
- The maroon and gold heads to Wallace, N.C. for the River Landing Classic on Mar. 3-4 hosted by UNCW.
