Elon, N.C.- The Elon Phoenix (16-23) looks to pick-up a key non-conference, midweek game this Tuesday against the #8 Wake Forest Demon Deacons (26-13). First pitch between the Phoenix and the Demon Deacons will be at 6 pm.
Elon faced off with the Demon Deacons earlier this season at David F. Couch ballpark in Winston-Salem to finish off the Wake Forest Tournament. Wake got the better of Elon by a 9-0 final score. Elon looks to capitalize on back-to-back weekend series victories over CAA opponents Hofstra and Monmouth and close out their eight-game homestand.
