Greensboro, N.C. – The Elon University track & field team will conclude the regular season Friday and Saturday at the North Carolina A&T Invitational. The Phoenix will use the meet as the final tune-up before hosting the CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 10-11.
Competition begins Friday at 2:00 p.m. with long jump and will pick up on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with hammer throw, high jump and triple jump.

Each week, the USTFCCCA releases the national, regional and conference Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI). Elon is up two spots to No. 18 in the southeast region, garnering 118.16 points.
In the CAA rankings, Elon remained No. 1 in the league for the fourth consecutive week, with a total of 899.52 points. Northeastern stuck at No. 2, followed by Hampton and William & Mary for the third straight week.
On the national scale, Elon climbed 54 spots to No. 130 this week – the biggest increase in the country this week. UNLV made the second biggest leap, jumping 34 spots.
