RICHMOND, Va. – Elon's Landon Durham was voted as the Coastal Athletic Association Men's Golf of the Week on Wednesday following his individual win at the Elon Phoenix Invitational.
 
Durham set a school low 54-hole record with a 17-under-par 196 (70-63-63) to claim his second collegiate individual medalist title – his first since the spring of his freshman year in 2023 – while leading the Phoenix (-34, 818) to a six-stroke victory at its home tournament, held at Alamance Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
 
Durham, a native of Ponde Vedra Beach, Florida, also set a program low 36-hole record of 126 with his back-to-back 63s in the second and third rounds. He birdied nine holes throughout the final round Tuesday, including holes 16-18 to pull away from the 73-man field with a six-shot individual win.
 
After carding a first-round 70 on Monday morning, Durham glided through the start of the second round that same afternoon with birdies on holes 1, 2, 4 and 5 before notching an eagle on 6 to accelerate up the leaderboard.
 
Durham and the Phoenix will return to action in late January 2026 with the start of their spring season.
