GREENSBORO, GA. – The Elon University men's golf team climbed two spots on the leaderboard, finishing round two in fourth place at the Linger Longer Invitational.

The Phoenix posted a second-round total of 287 (-1), highlighted by Garrett Risner's bogey-free 67 (-5). Alabama now leads the field with a 15-under par 561.

HIGHLIGHTS  

• Garrett Risner fired a bogey-free 67 (-5), recording a team-high five birdies. He moved up 22 spots on the individual leaderboard and is in second place.
• Jack Wieler shot an even-par 72 with four birdies and is tied for 12th place.
• Landon Durham posted a 75 (+3) in round two and is tied for 27th place.
• Matthew Doyle climbed a team-best 23 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a 73 (+1) in round two. He led the Phoenix with 15 pars and is tied for 31st place.
• Bronson Myers is tied for 34th place after carding a 76 (+4) in the second round.
