SWAINTON, N.J. – Sophomore Jack Wieler carded a team-low 69 (-3) in round two to climb the leaderboard and tie for third, helping Elon move into third place on the team leaderboard following the second round of the 2025 CAA Championship.

As a team, Elon posted a second-round score of 291 (+3) to move into third place, just three strokes behind Campbell, who leads the field with a seven-over-par 583.

HIGHLIGHTS  

• Jack Wieler jumped nine spots on the individual leaderboard after carding a 3-under-par 69 in round two, which included seven birdies. Wieler leads the team in par-4 scoring average (3.85) and is tied for the team lead in total birdies (9).
• Juan Callejo Ropero carded a 1-over-par 73 in round two to tie for sixth. He leads the team in total pars with 24 after recording 12 today, and shares the team lead in par-3 scoring average (3.38).
• Matthew Doyle made the biggest jump for the Phoenix, moving up 19 spots on the individual leaderboard to tie for 12th after carding a 2-under-par 70 in round two, highlighted by seven birdies. He also shares the team lead in total birdies (9) and par-3 scoring average (3.38).
• Garrett Risner is tied for 18th after posting a 79 in round two. He continues to lead the team in par-5 scoring average (4.25).
• Landon Durham posted a 9-over-par 81 in round two and is tied for 35th place.
