BREMERTON, Wash. – Junior Landon Durham led the Elon University men's golf team with an even-par 72 during Monday's opening round of the 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional, held at the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club.

The Phoenix posted a team total of 21-over par 309 to sit in 13th place. Florida leads the field after day one with a 9-under par 279.
 
HIGHLIGHTS  

• Landon Durham fired an even-par 72 in round one, highlighted by three birdies. He led the team in pars (13), par-5 scoring average (4.50), and is tied for second in the field in par-3 scoring average (3.00).
• Garrett Risner carded a 1-over par 73, tying for 24th place after day one. He led the team in birdies (4) and tied Durham for the team lead in par-4 scoring average (4.20).
• Matthew Doyle posted a 9-over par 81, while Jack Wieler and Juan Callejo Ropero each recorded rounds of 83 (+11).

• Elon continues play at the 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional on Tuesday, May 13, with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT. The regional runs through Wednesday, May 14, with the top five teams and the lowest-scoring individual not on an advancing team moving on to the 2025 NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
