TEE SHOTS
  • Elon will field the same five-man lineup – Wieler, Lewis, Yeagley, Carr and Durham – that excelled at the West Bay Collegiate Invitational last fall. The group led Elon to a runner-up finish in the tournament's 2025 edition, shooting 29-under-par 835 (283-278-274), with Wieler and Carr tying for ninth individually at 10-under 206.
  • The Phoenix started its fall season with a second-place effort at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate (844, -20) on Sept. 6-8 before most recently placing seventh at the JT Poston Invitational (836, -16) on Sept. 13-15.
  • Lewis and Yeagley were named CAA Golfer of the Week following the MBGTI and JT Poston Invitational, respectively. Lewis tied for fifth with a 7-under 209 in Myrtle Beach, while Yeagley tied for fourth in Waynesville with a 10-under 203.
  • Yeagley, a sophomore, has finished among the top 20 in 11 of his first 12 collegiate tournaments.
  • Year 14 of the Don Hill era is underway for the Phoenix. Hill, who took over the program in 2013-14, guided Elon to its first Division I conference title in 2025 and has led Elon to four consecutive top-two finishes at the CAA Championship dating back to 2022.
  • Elon will close its 2026 fall campaign on Oct. 12-13, hosting the Elon Phoenix Invitational at Alamance Country Club in Burlington.
