ELON – Class of 2026 standout Will Cherry has signed with the Elon men's golf program. Cherry, a product of New Hanover High School in Wilmington, will join the Phoenix this summer ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Don Hill said. "An accomplished junior golfer, Will possesses the talent, drive and work ethic to be successful at the collegiate level. We expect Will to be a large part of our success moving forward."

- 2026 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifier
- Father, Bob Cherry, played golf at North Carolina from 1998-2003
