RALEIGH – Elon junior
Adriana Clarke moved into the Phoenix track & field program's all-time top-10 in the shot put on Thursday morning to highlight the first day of the Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.
Clarke's throw of 13.25m (43'5.75") was one of two personal bests by the Phoenix contingent in the event and stands as the No. 9 mark in program history.
Allison Mateyak (11.84m / 38'10.25") also recorded a personal best, while
Isabella Johnson was Elon's top finisher in 20th place with a throw of 13.82m (45'4.25").
Tristin Oberg added a season-best effort in the shot put with a 12.92m (42'4.75").
Three Phoenix also competed in the javelin throw, with
Jaqueline Zacharias (38.50m / 126'4") leading the way in 22nd place.
