Ashley Lafontaine was named to the 2026 All-CAA First Team on Friday, as the Coastal Athletic Association unveiled its postseason women's golf awards and all-conference teams.
Lafontaine was one of five women's golfers across the nine-team league to earn a spot on the first team, marking her first career all-conference selection.

Lafontaine rounded out an impressive collegiate career with a senior season that included seven top-10 finishes in 11 events played, including a tie for ninth place with at the CAA Championship in Southport earlier this month. She led Elon with a career-best 74.22 stroke average and played all possible 31 rounds during the 2025-26 campaign, finishing 22nd or better in all 11 tournaments.
The Ottawa, Ontario, native, amassed 38 total events played in her four-year career with the Phoenix and owned a career stroke average of 74.88. She was an individual medalist once as a freshman in 2022 and earned a spot on the 2025 CAA All-Tournament Team after tying for fifth as a junior.
Lafontaine is the first Phoenix to earn all-conference honors since teammate
Annie Wu was tabbed to the second team in 2024, and the first to be selected to the first team since Annabelle Ackroyd in 2023.
