At UNC Pembroke: Went 3-0 in eight appearances, including four starts … Struck out 29 and walked just 13 in 23.2 innings … Nine of his K’s came in a five-inning start against Wingate.

Prep: Attended Pinecrest High School … Earned all-league honors in both 2008 and 2009 … Named the 2009 team MVP … Helped coach Jeff Hewitt’s squad to a 2008 conference crown.
