2014: Won back-to-back Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week honors on Feb. 24 and March 3 … Went 5-4 with a 3.97 ERA in 14 games, including 13 starts … Logged 77.0 innings, striking out 33 and walking just 26 … Held opponents to a .254 batting average … Did not allow an earned run in his first three starts … Began his Elon career by allowing one unearned run over 7.0 innings to defeat Cincinnati … Scattered three hits in 7.0 scoreless frames to earn the win against Wagner … Struck out five and allowed just three hits in a complete game shutout of Gardner-Webb … Fanned four and allowed two runs on four hits in 8.0 innings in a win over Appalachian State.

At Indian Hills CC:  Posted a 4-3 mark in 10 starts in 2013 … Finished with a 3.14 ERA, 56 strikeouts and just 15 walks allowed in 51.2 innings as a sophomore … Tossed two complete games in 2013 … Fanned six or more in six of his 10 starts … Was a 2012 Region XI honorable mention pick and once earned region athlete of the week accolades in 2012 … Went 4-2 with a 3.55 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 50.2 innings of work as a freshman … Earned Region XI Academic All-Region honors in 2012 and 2013.

Prep:  Played as a prep at Albia Community High School … Earned three letters in baseball as well as all-conference accolades in both 2010 and 2011 … Went 9-5 with a 2.28 ERA and 121 strikeouts in 89.0 innings as a senior … Collected first-team all-district and first-team all-state recognition in 2011 … Helped his team caputre the 2011 district title … Claimed second-team all-district honors in 2010 after posting an 8-2 record with a 0.69 ERA and 87 strikeouts in just 61.0 innings … Went 9-1 with a 1.92 ERA and 63 Ks in 51.0 innings in 2009.
