2013: Started 32 of the 40 games in which he appeared … Finished with a .280 batting average … Drove in 16 runs and scored 24 times … Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBI in a SoCon win at UNCG … Belted his first career grand slam in a league win over Davidson … Named to the Academic All-SoCon squad.

2012: Hit .264 over 106 at bats in 48 games as a true freshman … Earned 29 starts … Homered twice and drove in 16 runs while scoring 16 times … Tallied the first hit of his career in game three vs. Georgia Southern … Went 3-for-5 with a run and RBI in a win at North Carolina A&T … Hit the first homer of his career, a two-run shot, in a win over Wake Forest … Was 2-for-2 wiht two RBI in a SoCon Tournament victory over College of Charleston … Homered and drove in two in a SoCon Tournament decision over The Citadel.

Prep: Was a four-year starter for Mike Shade and Brian Hull’s three-time Division 1 District champion Gahanna Lincoln squad … A four-time all-district selection … Collected four all-league honors and was the team’s 2010 and 2011  MVP … Named first-team All-Ohio following his senior season … Earned both league and district player of the year honors in 2011 … Was a 2010 preseason All-American as named by Perfect Game … Named to the Columbus Dispatch All-Metro Team from 2009-11 … Set program career records for hits, runs, doubles, home runs, RBI and assists … Won multiple Academic Award for Distinction accolades.
