Biography

2022 (Redshirt Senior):
  • Named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society
  • One of 30 FCS players named to the CFPA National Performer of the Year Watch List
  • Started all 12 games at quarterback
  • Was 197-of-323 passing (61.0 percent) with 21 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Posted a quarterback rating of 150.4
  • Also ran for 458 yards and three touchdowns
  • Had a season-high 333 passing yards at Vanderbilt, going 19-of-32 with four touchdowns (two passing and two rushing)
  • Was 16-of-19 (84.2 percent) with two touchdowns at Hampton
  • Tied his season-high with 20 completions for 322 yards and three passing touchdowns in a win over Richmond
  • Also threw for 312 yards against Towson, picking up three touchdowns (two passing and one rushing)

Prior to Elon:
  • Played the 2018 and 2019 seasons at North Carolina State, redshirting in 2017, before moving on to Montana State to play the 2021 fall campaign
  • Played in 11 games at NC State, starting five times in 2019, throwing for as many as 308 yards in a game against East Carolina
  • Threw for almost 1,000 yards in his career at NC State
  • Was the starting quarterback at Montana State, leading the team to the FCS playoffs in a 12-3 season that included a 7-1 conference mark
  • Was 153-of-248 (61.7 percent) passing for 2,037 yards to go with 17 touchdowns and only three interceptions
  • Was 19-of-29 for 202 yards and two touchdowns in a near upset of FBS Wyoming, a program that advanced to, and won, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
  • Threw for 5,932 yards and 58 touchdowns, rushing for 2,386 yards and 39 scores, at Wakefield High School
  • Three-time first team all-league and academic all-league honoree in high school
  • Coming out of high school, was ranked as the No. 3 quarterback in the state and No. 41 player in North Carolina by Rivals.com
