Biography

Powell on Leko: Chris has been adjusting to the pace of the college game in the United States.  He scored some goals in the Southern Conference in 2007 and we hope he can continue to successfully transition to college soccer.

2007: Started two of the 17 matches in which he appeared...Scored a goal each in league wins over Georgia Southern and Appalachian State...Prep: Was a 2006 Canadian National U18 Youth Player and a member of the Canadian National U17 Team in 2005...Was a Canadian National Team player for three years and a Team Ontario member for four years...Captained the Ontario Provincial team...Has helped his clubs to two Ontario Cup Indoor titles as well as an Ontario Summer Games crown...Participated in the Foyle Cup as well as the Milk Cup with the Dixie 89ers...Has been a member of the National Training Center since 2003...Captained the Winstars Soccer Academy Senior team...Personal: May 15, 1989...Son of Vladimir and Jadranka Leko...Undecided upon a major...Favorite food is pizza...Favorite movie is “Peaceful Warrior”...Favorite musician is DJ Tiesto...Would most like to travel to Barcelona, Spain...Favorite place on campus is Rudd Field...Most memorable Elon soccer moment is scoring my first career goal.
