HIGH POINT, NC -- The Panthers from High Point University needed only three games to down the Phoenix for the second time this season. Game scores were 23-30, 18-30, 20-30 in favor of the Panthers who advance to 6-24 overall and 3-10 in the Big South. The loss drops Elon to 6-22, 1-13 for the year.

Elon was led by Emily Hayes who recorded eight kills and Maria LaBrutto who tallied 10 digs. Lindsay Lawson added 22 assists for the Phoenix.

Tracyann Pryce (15 kills), Lindsey Steinhaus (11 kills) and Kimberly Wright (10 kills, 21 digs) paced the Panther attack. Kristy Flint added 41 assits for High Point.

The match was the last conference contest for the Phoenix who will end the regular season at home on Sunday at 2:00 pm when they host Birmingham Southern College in Alumni Gym.
