ELON, NC -- Elon University women’s soccer head coach Paul Webster announced the signing of
Kerry McCarron (Ashland, OH/Ashland HS) to a National Letter of Intent on Monday.
McCarron, a 5’4” midfielder/forward, scored 64 goals and notched 54 assists in her four years at Ashland High. She was a three-year captain and earned both First and Second Team All-Ohio honors in her four seasons. Ashland’s all-time leading scorer has also earned District Player of the Year, All-District and OHC Offensive Player of the Year honors.
She has traveled to England and Scotland with her ODP team and is a member of the Internationals Soccer Club. She has led teams to six regional titles, two National Final Four appearances, four Continental Alliance Tournament championships and six National Indoor championships.
McCarron is a member of the Student Council, the Latin Club, Key Club and participates in numerous other activities. She has also won scholar athlete and academic scholar awards.
Kerry played for Jerry White at Ashland High and is the daughter of Bob and Barbara McCarron.
