Elon, N.C.— Elon University’s student run radio station WSOE 89.3 FM will broadcast five Elon Phoenix volleyball games this fall, beginning with coverage of Sunday’s home opener versus Georgia Southern.

Coverage begins at 12:30PM with the WSOE Sports Pregame Show, followed by the LIVE call of the game at 1PM. Bryan Jones and Meghan Packer will handle the commentary duties for WSOE this season, and Connie Fisichello will anchor the pregame, intermission and postgame reports. In Sunday’s broadcast, Connie will sit down with head coach Mary Tendler to talk about the team.

In addition, WSOE will broadcast four more volleyball games this fall, against conference opponents Furman, Appalachian State and UNC-Greensboro. Coverage for the season will cap off on Sunday November 13th in the senior day game against UT-Chattanooga. To listen to the games, tune into WSOE 89.3FM, or if you are on campus, you can also listen in on Elon Info Channel 14. You can also listen in online via WSOE’s internet webcast by logging on to WSOE Sports website at http://sports.theonlyalternative.com and by clicking on the webcast bar in the middle of the page. You will need the newest version of Quicktime downloaded for the webcast to work properly. All games start 30 minutes before serve time with the pregame show.
