CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Elon softball team's games at the Holiday Inn 49ers Softball Slam hosted by Charlotte on Saturday and Sunday have been cancelled over concern about temperature and weather.

The Phoenix softball squad will now begin the season on Friday, Feb. 17 at the Holiday Inn Express Pirate Classic hosted by East Carolina.
