DURHAM, N.C. - Jessica Clendenning recorded a height of 12'-06" (3.80 meters) in the pole vault at the Duke Asics Twilight Meet to finish in a tie for first place. The height was another NCAA East Regional Qualifying height, marking her sixth consecutive competition in which she has cleared the qualifying standard.
Clendenning will represent Elon at the NCAA East Regional on May 25-26 in Gainsville, Fla.
A three-time Southern Conference champion, Clendenning collected all-conference accolades on seven occasions - four times in indoor competition and three times in outdoor action. She ranked as high as 19th in the country this spring and holds the Elon indoor and outdoor pole vault records as well as the SoCon indoor meet milestone.
