ELON, N.C. – Elon University Director of Athletics Dave Blank announced earlier this week that Karen Barefoot has been hired as the next Phoenix women’s basketball coach. Barefoot comes to Elon after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at perennial top-25 program Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
