ELON, N.C. -- Elon women's golf coach Chris Dockrill has announced that his program has signed Heather Munro (Dundee, Scotland/Grove Academy) for the 2014-15 season.

Munro has represented Scotland in three events in 2013 -- the Girls' European Team Championship, the Girls' Home Internationals and the Ladies' Home Internationals.  This year she has also captured titles at the Faldoseries Scottish U21 and the Angus County Junior events.  Munro earned a runner-up finish at the 2013 Scottish Schools tournament and also placed third in both the 2013 Scottish Ladies' Golfing Association's Girls' Order of Merit and the 2013 Scottish U18 Strokeplay Championship.  Munro was a participant in the 2013 Ladies' British Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship.

Heather is the daughter of Lee and Alison Munro.
