ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's tennis team won two doubles titles and a singles title on the final day of the Elon Fall Invitational today, Sept. 15, at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

"We had a great turnout of teams for our Elon Fall Invite," said Elon head coach Elizabeth Anderson. "I was very proud of Bryn for winning her singles flight. She won some great matches against very good players. Frida, Jordan, Viviana and Tolley did a wonderful job at winning their doubles flights. Overall, I think we had a good tournament and look forward to fine tuning everything before the Wake Forest Invitational."

Bryn Khoury continued her impressive weekend on Sunday, winning her flight's singles championship with a 7-6 (4), 6-2 win versus William & Mary's Julia Casselbury.

In doubles, Jordan Johnston and Frida Jansaker won the top doubles flight championship with an 8-4 win over Furman's Boyette and Bryde.

In addition, Tolley Rice and Viviana Stavreva captured their doubles flight title with an 8-4 victory against USC Upstate's Baron and Buenger.

The Phoenix returns to action on Sept. 27-29 in Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Wake Forest Invitational.
