- Simone Bergeron is back for her junior season after a breakout campaign last spring that saw her take home CAA Women's Tennis Player of the Year. Bergeron has 15 wins across doubles and singles this spring after earning All-CAA First Team recognition in both last season.
- Bergeron's primary doubles partner this season has been Mariana Reding, who also earned First Team All-CAA honors in doubles a season ago. Reding, also a junior, leads the Phoenix with 19 total wins this spring.  Â
- After a strong freshman campaign that saw her secure All-CAA Second Team recognition, Lisa Kranec has been one of Elon's top contributors this spring, with 10 doubles victories and six singles wins.

- Elon welcomes three newcomers this season – Cornelia Kack, Alexis Nyborg and Nathalie Marinovitch. Â
- Kack joined the Phoenix after earning All-CAA Third Team honors in doubles last season as a freshman at Delaware and is tied with Reding for a team-high 19 total wins this spring. Nyborg came to Elon following two successful seasons at UNC Asheville, where she earned All-Big South First Team honors in singles in 2025. The junior is third on the Phoenix with eight singles wins this spring.
- Marinovitch, a native of Cochabamba, Bolivia, is Elon's lone freshman. Â
- Elon won its first ever CAA championship last spring, winning the CAA Tournament at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center with a victory over three-time defending champion William & Mary in the final.Â
- The Phoenix earned the CAA's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and faced No. 10 Tennessee in the opening round. Elon finished the season with a 19-6 overall record, which included a 15-2 mark at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.Â
- Elon is led by reigning CAA Coach of the Year Elizabeth Anderson, who is in her 22nd season leading the Phoenix. She is joined by first-year assistant coach Allie Gretkowski, who played college tennis at South Carolina and Louisville. Â

Last Time Out
- Elon raced to a 5-0 sweep over Queens on March 21 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
- The Phoenix quickly took the doubles point by winning 6-0 on all three courts.
- Cordisco and Nyborg were the first duo to post their sweep at the No. 2 spot, with Kack and Kranec securing the doubles point with their sweep on Court 3. Bergeron and Reding then capped off a perfect doubles point with their own 6-0 victory.
- It marked the first time Elon won all three doubles matches by a 6-0 score in the same contest since March 22, 2019, against Maryland Eastern Shore.
- In singles, Elon lost just four games in its four wins, with Bergeron winning 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot to finish her day a flawless 18-0 across doubles and singles games. Kranec, Nyborg and Reding all dropped just one game to go 18-1 in total games.

- Elon was ranked for the third straight week last Tuesday, checking in at No. 72.
- The Phoenix entered the rankings on March 3 at No. 58, the highest ranking in Elon's Division I history, beating the previous best mark of No. 59 from the poll on March 5, 2013.
- Elon's ranking on March 3 was its first since Jan. 6, 2015, when the Phoenix held the 75th and final spot in the standings.
- Elon is the only CAA team to be ranked this season. All three of Elon's losses this season have come against top 60 teams.

- Reding is tied with Kack the most total wins on Phoenix this spring with 19 victories across singles and doubles.
- The junior is on an eight-match singles winning streak, with seven of the eight victories coming in straight sets.
- Last week, Reding won both her singles matches against UConn and Queens by identical 6-1, 6-0 scorelines. Reding has won her last five sets by either 6-0 or 6-1 scores, dating back to Elon's match at Furman on March 14.
- Reding has won a 6-1 singles set in five consecutive outings. The last time she did not win a set 6-1 in a match was March 1 against Davidson.
- Reding's 11 singles victories are the most on the Phoenix, with all the wins coming at the No. 3 spot.Â

- Kack made her No. 1 singles debut for Elon against Furman on March 14, winning in three sets to clinch the victory for the Phoenix. The sophomore then clinched Elon's win over UConn on March 19 with another victory at the top singles spot.
- Kack was won six straight completed singles matches. She led by a set Saturday against Queens when her match was halted.
- The sophomore has been ruthless in singles, winning seven sets by either a 6-1 or 6-0 scoreline.
- Like Reding, Kack's only singles losses this season have come against Charlotte and North Carolina, both ranked opponents.
- Prior to the Furman match, Kack played the No. 2 spot, winning seven times.
- Kack has also formed one of Elon's most reliable doubles pairings alongside Kranec, with the duo leads the Phoenix in doubles wins this spring (10).
- Kack earned CAA Co-Player of the Week honors on Feb. 17 after a dominant stretch in which she posted multiple singles and doubles wins for the Phoenix.
- Against No. 3 North Carolina on Feb. 17, Kack took a set off Oby Kajuru, the No. 7-ranked player in the ITA standings, pushing the nationally ranked Tar Heel to three sets at the No. 2 singles position.

- Last season, Bergeron became the first Elon player to win both CAA Player of the Year and CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
- She picked up 20 doubles victories in her sophomore campaign, tied for the third most in a season by an Elon player.
- All 12 of Bergeron's singles victories last spring came at the No. 1 position, which included the CAA title clinching win against William & Mary.
- Bergeron has compiled 72 dual wins across singles and doubles in her first three campaigns with the Phoenix. She won at least 12 matches in both singles and doubles in each of her first two seasons.
- This fall, Bergeron was selected as the CAA's singles representative at ITA Conference Masters. She was the first Elon player to compete at the event.
- Bergeron has 15 victories this spring, with eight coming at No. 1 doubles alongside Reding. Elon's top doubles duo has won six of their last eight matches, including a 6-0 win last time out against Queens. Â
- Bergeron has also won seven of her last eight completed singles matches, with all seven of the wins coming in straight sets. After playing the No. 1 spot to start the season, Bergeron recently moved to No. 2 singles and is 2-0 playing that court.
- Against Queens on Saturday, Bergeron pitched a perfect day across doubles and singles, going 18-0 in total games. After sweeping her doubles match with Reding, she won her singles match 6-0, 6-0, her first time blanking an opponent in singles since the 2024 CAA Tournament against Monmouth.

- In her debut campaign with the Phoenix, Nyborg has become a reliable contributor in both doubles and singles.
- Nyborg is third on the Phoenix with eight singles wins this spring and enters Tuesday with wins in three straight matches.
- The junior has played the Nos. 4 and 5 singles spots, with each of her last two appearances coming at the No. 4 position.
- Seven of her eight victories have come in straight sets and all three of her defeats this season have come against ITA ranked teams.
- Nyborg joined Elon's doubles lineup against North Carolina A&T on Feb. 25 and has appeared at the No. 2 spot in every match since, picking up four wins with Cordisco and Marinovitch.
- The Nyborg and Cordisco duo is 3-0 this season, with wins against the Aggies, South Carolina State and Queens.

- The duo leads the Phoenix with 10 victories, all coming at the No. 3 spot.
- Kranec has added six singles victories this spring and is coming off a 2-0 week with wins at the No. 5 spot against UConn and Queens.
- All six of Kranec's singles wins have come in straight sets. She also pushed Thea Rabman of North Carolina to a third set on Feb. 17 after winning the first set off her ranked Tar Heel opponent in a tiebreak.
- Cordisco has been a key piece of Elon's doubles lineup this season, entering Tuesday's match with a 5-1 record in doubles this spring.
- Cordisco has won in doubles with both Nyborg and Sarikulaya this season. The senior is 3-0 playing alongside Nyborg, which includes a 6-0 triumph in Elon's most recent match against Queens. Â
- Cordisco also has three singles victories this season and has appeared in singles for nine matches.

Nat Debuts
- Marinovitch made her dual debut for the Phoenix on Feb. 25 against North Carolina A&T, playing the No. 6 singles spot.
- The freshman came through a tight match against the Aggies, defeating Flavia Villegas for her first career dual victory.
- Marinovitch was back in the lineup on Feb. 28 against Wofford, again at the No. 6 position. She clinched the match for the Phoenix with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Marie Henriksen.
- Marinovitch has partnered Nyborg in doubles in three of Elon's last four matches. The duo picked up their first win together on March 14 at Furman, clinching the doubles point for the Phoenix with a 7-5 win at the No. 2 spot.
- Marinovitch has played either singles or doubles in six of the last eight matches.

Doubles Success
- Elon has won the doubles point in seven of the last eight matches and in nine of its 10 victories this season.
- Elon is coming off a perfect doubles point against Queens, as the Phoenix won all three matches 6-0 for the first time since 2019.
- Kack and Kranec are tied for the team lead with 10 wins at the No. 3 spot. The duo has won seven straight outings and 10 of their last 11. They have won back-to-back matches by 6-0 scorelines and have not lost more than three games in any match during their current winning streak, with a combined winning score of 42-13 in those contests.
- Bergeron and Reding have won six of the last eight matches together and are second on the team with eight victories this spring at the No. 1 spot.
- Of the seven Elon doubles pairs to play together this spring, four have delivered victories.

- Reding is not far behind her doubles partner, as she recently cracked the top 15 in career doubles wins with the Phoenix and is just one short of 40 career wins herself (39).
- Cordisco is also making a move up the doubles rankings, as the senior is up to 35 career victories. Â
- With her 11 singles wins this season, Reding also has 39 career wins in singles. She is just four victories away from entering the top 15 in Elon's program history.

The Anderson Era
- Head coach Elizabeth Anderson is in her 22nd season leading the maroon and gold.Â
- Anderson has turned Elon into a consistent winner. Under her guidance, the Phoenix has posted 19 consecutive winning seasons, all of which have included double-digit victories.Â
- Since joining the CAA in the 2014-15 season, Elon has won at least one match in all 10 of its CAA Tournament appearances. Anderson led the program to the CAA championship match for the first time in 2022 and its first CAA title in 2025 to earn an NCAA Tournament bid.
- In Elon's final season in the Southern Conference, Anderson led the maroon and gold to the program's first NCAA Tournament berth in 2013. The Phoenix won its first Southern Conference championship that season to qualify.Â
- Since taking over as head coach in 2005, Anderson has tallied 318 victories at Elon. Her winning percentage is 62% in 509 career matches.Â
- Anderson was named CAA Coach of the Year in 2025, the second time in her career she earned the honor.
- Elon has also been a strong performer in the classroom during Anderson's tenure. The program has earned All-ITA Academic Team honors in 20 consecutive seasons.

Scouting College of Charleston
- The Cougars are 8-5 this season entering Tuesday and are currently riding a three-match winning streak.
- Since losing a tight 4-3 decision against William & Mary on March 14, the Cougars have reeled off victories over Towson, Hofstra and South Florida.
- Charleston's win over South Florida on Thursday came via a 4-3 score, with Jaiden McKee delivering the decisive point with a three-set singles victory on Court 4.
- The Cougars are 2-1 against CAA opponents this spring. The loss against William & Mary came at Patriots Point. The Tribe won the doubles point and three of the top four singles courts to squeak past Charleston.
- Sia Carlov has been Charleston's No. 1 singles player this spring, with six victories at the top spot.
- Oziera Ahmad leads the Cougars with seven singles wins, all coming at the No. 2 spot.
- Marra Bruce and Riley Trinkle also have six singles wins apiece, with McKee sitting on five victories.
- Carlov and Francesca Salvato are 8-3 playing the top doubles spot for the Cougars and took home CAA Doubles Team of the Week on March 10.
- Ahmad and Trinkle are 7-3 playing primarily the No. 2 spot, while McKee and Saige Severance have tallied five wins at No. 3 doubles.
- The Cougars are led by head coach Angelo Anastopoulo, who is in his 36th season at the helm of the program.
