ELON, N.C. – Elon University head women's soccer coach Chris Neal announced ten student-athlete additions for the 2014 season today, Feb. 5.
 
"We have great players, people, and students in this freshman class," Neal said. "It is a balanced class that includes a goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders and forwards, as well as athletes that can play central and wide in all of the lines as well. All four United States soccer regions are represented in this group, which is a testament to the national recruiting power of Elon University. With eight seniors graduating, there is opportunity for these freshmen to immediately compete for playing time as long as they report to pre-season in top shape."

 
Callie Allen
Defender • 5-6 • Clarksville, Md./River Hill (Maryland United)
Led Maryland United to a fourth-place finish at the ECNL National Finals in 2013 and 2012… Helped Maryland United to a USYSA National League title in 2011… Helped River Mill to a 3A state title in 2013 and 2012… Earned second-team all-state honors in 2013 and was a first-team all-metro selection… Earned MD ODP honors in 2011 and regional camp honors in 2011… Personal: Born March 31, 1996… The daughter of Kevin and Julie Allen… Intends on majoring in exercise science.
